Hello! I’m Sarah, and I’ve been blogging off and on for 15+ years, ever since I founded Dodeline back in 2009. We are wedding stationers in Charleston, SC, specializing in custom save the dates, wedding invitations, and wedding day of paper for weddings all over the country.

Part 2! It’s so good to stretch those creative muscles sometimes and do something just for the fun of it. While obviously this is just me playing and not truly how I would make something for a client (especially not when the budget is @taylorswift level 😂), occasional experimentation is important!

I’ve thought a lot about the secrecy with this wedding and what makes it so unique. What do you think? 🤔

⭐️ Did they send anything in the mail at all?
⭐️ If they did, counter to what we normally do with higher end weddings, I wonder if it actually said much of anything other than the date/city and a stay tuned situation
⭐️ Do you think it was hidden in plain sight, like mailed in a normal shipping box or fedex package?
⭐️ Or maybe they just called everyone on a secure line. 😂
⭐️ It also seems like it could have been some sort of code or invisible ink or something - we know she loves her easter eggs and numerology!
⭐️ I was imagining leaning very much into a garden, fairytale-esque theme, but gosh the possibilities are endless…we still don’t really know what the vibe really was!

I love how you can really see everything come together in the place setting - the blues, navy, and pink work so well!

I just painted a powder room this pretty pinky color and it reminded me of this invitation suite from a couple years ago. That scalloped envelope flap is still a favorite, and gatefold wraps like this are very much on trend at the moment!

Back from this summer’s Western adventure in Truck

Back from this summer’s Western adventure in Truckee / Lake Tahoe! We have made something of a tradition with our summer trips although we change the location most times. Puzzles, trail rides, rafting, scenery, reading, and - usually - mountains 🏔️ Ideally, it also includes cooler weather than our sweltering summers here in Charleston, except that one time we went to Scottsdale in August 😂

Make sure you watch through to see the AWESOME view you get from the mountain coaster at Heavenly Resort (@skiheavenly) in South Tahoe! It was well worth the (beautiful) drive around the lake. Hot tip: the drive down the Nevada side of the lake is WAY easier on anyone who may get motion sick. The California side is really scenic but for us Lowcountry-ers it gets a bit…scary.

We also went to Virginia City (@virginacity) for a fun “wild west” town experience. It was cute and touristy and the train was a neat activity.

We did a float trip with @truckeeriverraft again. The water was FREEZING. 57 degrees! The last time we went to Truckee in 2021 was in August and I think that made a big difference in water temperature.

One last shoutout - my SIL and I snuck away for a yoga class at @tahoeyoga and it was wonderful. Such a great thing to do on vacation to get in a great headspace and also work out those travel day aches and pains.
