ornate wedding invitation

This ornate wedding invitation has it all! With a bold color scheme of purple, green, and a deep taupey gold, it’s truly a showstopper. The invitation is letterpress with an ornate monogram design, backed with a shimmery purple and gold damask paper. The response card leaves room for guests to share a note and came back to the bride in a fun bright green envelope.

The invitation also included a history of the venue where the couple’s reception would take place, the Historic Rice Mill, as well as a vintage inspired map of downtown Charleston.

Everything was tied up with purple and white twine and finished with a tag sharing the date. This package went inside a beautiful shimmery purple pocket which was written with calligraphy by Paige Tanenbaum and served as our “inner envelope.” The pocket went inside a shimmery envelope finished with deep purple calligraphy.
